Host was quick to seat us when we arrived. The restaurant was busy, but not overwhelmed with patrons. The waitress was quick to our table and ready to take orders after we delayed to review the menu. The food choices were robust for categories of poultry, seafood, vegan and gluten free. Amuse is a wonderful place to dine while visiting the VMFA. The food variety is first rate, the service is excellent, and the space perfect for conversation. We visit whenever we are at the Museum and have never been disappointed.
The crab cakes are divine and the slaw served with them really compliments them well. At other restaurants crab cakes can sometimes be too rich. These were perfect! The IPA available from a Richmond brewery was nice as well. Perfect meal!
