Blue Bee is back and better than ever in their new spot on Bethlehelm Rd by Libbie Mill.I am so happy for the new owners Mackenzie and Taylor and love what they have done with the space! You must check them out!The tasting room is so cozy with plenty of bar seating and comfy couches. The cider menu has all the old favorites with a new spin of a "song pairing" and I am anxiously awaiting new flavors once harvest happens and Taylor starts experimenting with new vintages! They have a snack menu too- chips, hmnad, charturie boards, and plan on rotating food trucks. They have nice outdoor seating on a spacious deck and a parking lot too ( approximately 30 spots beteeen their private lot and adjacent busineses)My rating rationale+1 Service+1 Food~Taste/flavor/quality+1 Presentation+1 Atmosphere/vibe+1 Value

I’ve been coming to Blue Bee for years and their new location doesn’t disappoint. Cider is better than ever and the ambiance and location makes it so convenient to pop in and grab a cider. Owners are knowledgeable and happy to take the time to get to know your preferences and make great recs

Love the new location! They’ve got plenty of parking and a nice little patio. The owners are knowledgeable and friendly, and the cider menu is vast and does not miss.

Love the new location! Parking is easy and ambiance is A+. The Hewe’s Crab cider is worth the trip alone!

The new location is fantastic! Warm and cozy vibes here. The staff and owners are kind and knowledgeable. The ciders are clean and well executed - my favorites are the single varietals, which are dry and drink more like a white wine. Fantastic place and vibes all around. Dog and family friendly.

The staff at Blue Bee Cider was amazing. We ordered about 70 bottles of cider for our welcome bags for our wedding and the team even included extra stickers to give all of our friends and family. The cider was delicious and everyone loved it!

Okay I came here with my boyfriend and my dad since we love cider, and YUM! I loved all the options here. The staff were super knowledgeable about the product which helped me pick a cider, and it wasn't too pricy either. We loved everything we picked, my boyfriend got a tangy / slightly sour one, and mine was lighter and sweet. My dad loved his as well; everything was great. I liked that they had cheese and snacks you could get too. Besides the cider the ambiance was fantastic. I loved the outdoor seating area and the cute little tents outside. They were perfect for a cozy fall cider run.

Delicious cider with a variety of choices in sweetness and dry levels. Perfect Saturday brewery vibes. Cheese shop next door. Slightly overpriced for the amount of cider given but overall great experience.

Had a tour and tasting. The guide was very informative and friendly, my husband and I really did learn more about cider than we thought there was. The whole place was just very calm and comforting, we really enjoyed ourselves. If we were in town longer we would've most definitely taken a bottle for our stay. We will for sure stop by if we end up in Richmond again.

Had an amazing experience tasting a flight and enjoying Blue Bee’s beautiful courtyard on a sunny Sunday. I got a cheese board from the on site shop and really enjoyed both. Really great experience and the cider was delicious!

I totally think Blue Bee is the best cider around. I love their flavors and experiments with recipes. They ferment most ciders down to 0% residual sugar (great) and offer a higher ABV than most (even better). The location is a totally unique feature in Richmond's Scott's Addition neighborhood. A picturesque stone barn and square with a small stone searing room, all surrounded by a stone wall. They make guests comfortable all seasons of the year and do fun events. They offer a cider membership club that's well worth the $40 or $100 per quarter (whichever best fits your budget snd level of enjoyment). Aside from the cider being very good the staff is friendly and pleasant which is a must for any business. This was my third visit to Blue Bee if I recall correctly. I've tried the two flight combinations they offer several times and highly recommend starting with one of those if it's your first time visiting. To date, I've liked every cider I've tried ranging from the sweet to the semi-dry and dry. Keep up the great job

Had a lovely time here doing the guided tasting menu. Our server Jason was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The ciders are all excellent, some very unique, most dry, and all very drinkable. We took a bottle with us to our campsite and enjoyed it with the sunset, perfect!

Very nice place with friendly staff. There is much to choose from. Needs to be more places like this around. Most of what we tried were light, crisp and not too sweet. Wish we had more time to try more of their selection during our short stop.

This was a fantastic tour. The ciders are delicious and the preservation of the stone architecture has a wonderful nostalgic atmosphere, allowing an escape from all of the hullabaloo on the streets. Although I am terrible with names, the young lady educating us was very knowledgeable and displayed passion for the history, the owner and other workers as well as the great cider! I love the measures that are taken for ingredients to be sourced in Virginia. We had the tour, then explored some other liquid spirits in Scotts Addition and landed back at Blue Bee for a glass with cheese treats from Truckle Cheese mongers. Fantastic!! Will be back!

We had been members of the Blue Bee Cider Club since it started in 2012. There had been a few hiccups, but they were eventually ironed out. We liked to correlate our club pickups with our appointments at the Richmond Veterans Hospital since it is a 4-hour round trip for us. Parking was usually difficult to find. Last Wednesday we decided to pick up our club shipment after a late doctor appointment. Seeing no parking spaces we decided to do a drive through. My husband was going to stop and let me out while I ran in to get the shipment. He has walking disability because of having been shot in Vietnam. There was a drive through area clearly marked from the street view. As he stopped there was a woman running up to our car screaming and yelling at us to stop and to back out. I told her that I was picking up a shipment-- which I did. We left. I reported it to the owner on FB via message which appeared to be read and ignored. We then dropped our membership because of the disrespect.
