This is my favorite ice cream joint in Richmond. Even as a chocoholic, I have to skip my natural inclination a grab their other delicacies. Try the goat cheese ice cream or triple berry crisp.
The ice cream was okay, but definitely not the best I’ve had. The flavors were pretty average, and nothing really stood out. What disappointed me more was the customer service. The staff didn’t seem very welcoming or enthusiastic, which took away from the overall experience. Unfortunately, it felt like a pretty mediocre visit all around.
The Blue Cow Ice Cream shop located in the Village Shopping Center is wonderful. It smelled really good outside, so I had to go in to see what the good smell was. It turned out to be fresh waffle cones that Andrew, the manager, was making. The shop is very clean and the decor is so cute. They had so many great sounding choices of ice cream that I couldn't decide, so a lovely employee named Madison gave me samples to try. I settled on the Banana Puddin and found my new favorite...
