Early dinner. Tasty mocktail, but overpriced, considering no alcohol. Snapper soup always a treat. Swordfish with red bell pepper and pineapple chutney was a good combination of flavors, but the chef had a heavy hand with the salt. Service was impeccable, attentive but not intrusive.
Great dinner with my parents and my children as they visit Richmond. Great, unassuming service from Chris who made terrific recommendations and chatted with my folks who are originally from Philly and knew the original namesake restaurant there. All meals were very good, lamb chops were delicious for a change of pace
We dined at Bookbinders in the past + had a wonderful dinner so we were surprised when our very pricey dinner did not measure up tonight. The service was excellent and the ambiance lovely. My husband's steak was ordered to be cooked “medium rare”; it arrived raw in the middle + had to be sent back. The correction was made. The sauce accompanying the steak was lukewarm + the consistency of wallpaper paste through the flavor was good. The creamed spinach side dish was lukewarm...
