This is truly a gem of a restaurant right in the heart of Downtown Richmond. The food, service, and atmosphere are superb.
We tried a variety of dishes, sharing a grilled Caesar salad, meatball and peppers pizza, rainbow trout served over fennel, and two deserts: a tiramisu, and a unique olive oil cake.
The owner came to our table throughout service to ask how everything was, and explain the food, as did our server, who was attentive and fast.

The building was beautiful and the restaurant was clean. The service was great, or easier easier made sure to answer any questions and provide recommendations. The parmesan asparagus was delicious as were the pizzas (my girls also enjoyed the salad). The best was the dessert, we had the olive oil cake, which included a lemon whipped cream topping and a rhubarb pineapple sauce. First impressions this good I felt like a five star rating falls short. Really wanted to give a 6th. Exceptional pizza, and per Russ we made sure to save some space for dessert. I’d never heard of an Italian Olive Oil Cake so he stopped me and ran into the back of the house to get me a sliver of the cake to sample. Pairs perfectly with a slice of Tiramisu.
