We did the baked potato bar for a rehearsal dinner and the food was on time and hot and fresh! It was even a Sunday afternoon. The delivery guy was very nice and set everything up for us. They even threw in a platter of desserts which was very much appreciated!! I would order from here again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food was hot and fresh.
Our experience with this catering company was great. They showed up on time and even allowed us to use their hot cooler to take the food to our guest. All in all I’d say that they did great!!

Catered my event. Absolutely fantastic food and service would recommend to anybody looking for a catering company.

Todd would not refund my $500 deposit for my cancelled wedding due to covid, even though we cancelled more than 6 months out. He said we could use it towards another event. We decided to use it for my husbands 40th birthday party. I reached out to him more than two months in advance and we came up with the menu. I didn’t hear anything from him and we had not solidified the delivery time, so I emailed him on October 10 to confirm. He did not respond, so I emailed him again on October 29 to follow up. The event is on November 6. October 29 was the first communication we had since finalizing the menu. He responded apologizing for not responding and we confirmed the time. He then sent a separate email that I did not see, asking for the delivery address and letting me know he would send the invoice over this week. He did not send the invoice until November 3. Also, keep in mind I had already paid more than half of the bill. He then emailed me this morning of November 4 to tell me that final payment was due on October 27. So I asked him why he had only just sent the invoice yesterday. And he said that he had sent 6 emails over the past couple of weeks (this was a lie, he asked for my address for the first time on October 29 in response to my second follow up email, then he asked a second time yesterday) asking for my address because he was not able to produce the invoice without my delivery address. He then emailed me this morning, two days before the event, and told me he was not able to order the food for my event because I did not pay the invoice that he sent yesterday on time and he could not get the invoice to me because I had not provided my address. He never apologized for lack of communication, he never made any effort to make things right. He clearly just wanted to keep my $500 deposit and not have to cater my event. I have never been treated so poorly as a customer. Not to mention, his prices are insane- an absolute rip off. He really left me with no choice but to cancel because he said he would have to “scramble” with what he had to come up with a new menu. I think he forgot to order our food and was scrambling at the last minute to blame it on me. Now we have two days until the party and I am scrambling trying to come up with food. Do not waste your money to be treated horribly and ripped off!In response to Todd’s response: everything is time stamped and dated. I have records of every communication we have had. The first time you asked for an address was October 29. This is when you also let me know you would be sending the final invoice for payment this week which you sent yesterday, November 3. If ordering my food was contingent upon having my delivery address, you should have collected that information months ago when we set the menu. You obviously either didn’t want to do my event or forgot to order the food and then wanted to blame it on me. It makes absolutely no sense as to why payment was due on October 27, you did not ask for address until October 29 and you did not send invoice until November 3 (all of this is in writing saved!). Also I had already paid you $500 so you should have had money to order food. Clearly there is a serious lack of communication/ organization going on with this company.

Butler's Unique Catering just catered a wedding at our facility, the Vineyard Estate at New Kent Winery, this past weekend. Each and every staff member in attendance was extremely professional, polite and a pleasure to work with. Todd worked with us when we fell slightly behind on our timeline due to a photography issue and helped us move the buffet line quicker than planned to help accommodate. Not to mention, the food was wonderful and all of the guests were raving about it. His staff also fed each of my staff members at the event which they obviously were incredibly thankful for. We are looking forward to having Butler's Unique Catering back for more weddings in our future. Thank you to your great staff!

We used Butler's Unique Catering for our wedding at Maymont. It was very positive experience working with Todd and his staff. Todd was very responsive to all my e-mails/calls. We were able to do a tasting after we selected our menu choices and he was able to provide a vegetarian option for one of our guests. He was able to set up a floor plan and provide the tablecloths, runners, and chair covers we needed to make the place look amazing! One of the staff members even went out her way to fix our plates so we would have time to sit down and eat during the reception. They did a great job of cleaning everything up at the end of the reception. I would highly recommend Butler's Unique Catering as a caterer for your wedding.

Can’t speak to weddings but Todd & co have catered our 100+ person Christmas party in our home for 3 years. Delicious food, attentive service, fair pricing. Highly recommended!!

My poor parents actually spent money on this! I don’t know a lot of professionals that can burn salmon but alas...Unfortunately, after the money was spent, the service was not what was requested, and the food was worse than something we could have made at home, this business didn’t even attempt to remedy the situation.Bad business all around.

Awful food plus there wasn’t enough to go around. Not worth the money.

They were hired to cater my son's wedding and to provide the beer & wine. The catering service was terrible; horrible presentation of the dinner, nothing looked appealing, the food was over cooked & dried out, salad was drenched in dressing making it super soggy. Nothing was appealing and was set up to look like a school lunch line. They didn't even care to use table cloths that would match or compliment the wedding colors. The bar area was pathetic, again using a folding table that was covered with any old table cloth. They failed to provide the brands of wine that we had requested, Todd never stated that he would be unable to provide what we had requested. My son was very disappointed with the wine selection as this was his wedding and we had specifically requested particular brands, which are the couples favorites. The liquor charge ( which is pricey) was based on the number of guests, whether the guests drank the beer or wine.. The last straw was that they stopped serving beverages before the reception was done. Before you have them handle your food or beverage package for your event get EVERYTHING confirmed and in writing.
