We arrived late on Sat. afternoon (RVA Convo Ctr was having an event) and all of the local restaurants were slammed. There were 7 in our party so menu items were limited but we were treated well and our server was great! She made 7 smoothies/milkshakes and they were all great. Prices are reasonable and portions are good. We will be going again but next time before the wave of convo diners descend on the local eateries. Thank you for your great service - we really appreciated it and the food.Vegetarian options: non dairy alternatives for milkParking: It's easier on the weekend to find places to park. On street is limited and you may or may not have to pay. There are lots and garages if you just want to stroll then eat. Visiting the area is the effort to locate parking.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! I got a tropical smoothie and a coconut pie slice- both are OUT OF THIS WORLD! Absolutely the best smoothie I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot). Customer service was so genuine and kind, super friendly - I believe my friend and I met the owner but either way this place blew me away. It’s going to become my smoothie spot!

September 6th 2021, I went to Cafe Synai while visiting RVA at VCU on business. I was pleasantly surprised at the location and how DELICIOUS the food is! OMG!Thank God For JESUS! The Lord Blessed that woman!!! The owner of Cafe Synai has such a warm and pleasant spirit. I ordered the Turkey Sandwich, The Salmon sandwich, 2 cheesecake cupcakes (one with strawberries and one plain). I also ordered a Banana pudding and a Strawberry Banana Smoothie! When people use the term "That Was Everything"! Cafe Synai food and drinks are EVERYTHING!!!!! When ever I visit Richmond Virginia, I will Always visit Cafe Synai!!!!! The food is worth it!!!! You go Girl! Black Girl Rocks! Keep up the great work!!! By the way, I ATE ALL that Food in 24 hours or less!! Lol lol.

Stopped by because we are staying in the area- I got the blueberry powerhouse smoothie, husband got the oatmeal cream pie, and my friend got ice cream! All were delicious!!! Would recommend. :)
My wife, daughter, and I stopped in here today while attending a conference at the convention center. Lauren (the owner) was so kind, genuine, and awesome! She’s chasing her dream with this business and she is completely rocking it! Hands down awesome food too. We ordered the cheesy three meat panini, strawberry banana smoothy, coffee, and cookies and they were all amazing! I definitely would recommend and hope I have an opportunity to stop in again next time we’re in Richmond.

Loved this place! We were in town visiting VCU and grabbed dessert there to take back to the hotel. We actually had dinner across the street at MommaJ's ( it was wonderful as well)...so next time we will have to try lunch selections at Cafe Synai! The owner was very helpful and hospitable. The prices were really good for the area and the desserts...a must for someone who loves a delicious sweet treat! I will be going back when in Richmond for sure!!!

A hidden gem in the belly of Jackson Ward, this little spot sits neatly between Marshall and Clay on 1st st.The Honey Glaze Salmon Panini is unreasonably delicious and something I see myself returning for frequently. The Incredible Hulk smoothie slaps and demonstrates the high quality of ingredients used.I’m excited to come back soon and try more of their menu!Could not recommend this place more.Stop reading reviews and go check out Cafe Synai!

Owner is the best Period . !!!! This Queen has great costomer service and serves healthy food options with real downhome flavor !!! My personal favorite is the Honey glazed salmon panini !!! You will not be disappointed with her banana pudding either !!! Peaceful atmosphere.

I got pineapple and coconut ice cream converted into a milkshake, and it tasted glorious! Customer service was also excellent. Kinda shocked/upset I didn't know about this place before. Glad I accidently stumble into it.They also have pies, cupcakes, and other desserts. Pricing is also reasonable.The lady who I presume to be the owner also told me they just opened earlier this year in January. Highly recommend and support this local business.
