CPK was “mid,” as the kids say. Food came out quickly, but that was about the highlight. The spinach artichoke dip tasted like it had been microwaved straight from a block, and the pizza was surprisingly bland. Our server did her job, but wasn’t particularly warm or engaging. Overall, it just wasn’t the CPK I remember. For the price, the food and experience were decidedly average, and I probably won’t be back.

I’ve been visiting California Pizza Kitchen for YEARS now, and I’m always so impressed by the quality of the food and the incredible servers! I personally love their cheese pizza with the cauliflower crust. If I’m in the mood for a sweet treat, I always get their warm butter cake with a scoop of ice cream on top.

We went on a weekday for an early lunch. The service was great and our waiter was very kind.
Howeved, the food quality has definitely dipped. We ordered a spinach artichoke dip with chips and california veggie pizza. Both were just mediocre and didn’t leave us wanting more.
