Carena's was one of my favorite spots ....I have notice last few months the food is falling off....like the jerk wings dont have a jerk taste anymore...about the same with the chicken....maybe cook has changed I don't know but something has
I just had an outstanding plate of Jamaican fried chicken with rice, peas, and cabbage. Like wow! DELICIOUS! No exaggeration.
They could charge double and I wouldn't complain.
Well seasoned all round, tender chicken, spicy glaze, nothing left but bones. The sides are perfect for the main. The whole plate was visually appealing and fragrent.
The beautiful waitress was very attentive, but not bothersome or neglectful....

Ordered curry chicken with more cabbage than rice and extra curry gravy. The ruce and cabbage was great but the chicken tasted like baked chicken and had no curry flavor. I called the restaurant to advise and I was told that's an issue with the chef. The person that answered wanted to know if I want them to make another. While that would have been great but the gas prices to ride back would not be good. I really just wanted my food cooked accurately when I picked it up
