I thought the gyro and cajun fries were really good. However, the rice bowl with the chicken, lamb, and beef had some hard pieces of chicken in it and not enough lettuce and tomatoes. The bowl did taste really good though. I also liked the jamaican patties a whole lot. Most disappointing item was probably the onion rings.
Carytown Gyro has the best falafel in town, but what keeps me coming back, even when I want something else, are the people and their sense of community. Their portions are big, prices affordable, and service impeccable. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh and delicious. Mention that you work, study, or live nearby and you won’t just get a discount, but be welcomed as family.
Parking was hard to find, had to park a few blocks away. Place is small not much for indoor seating but the outside is nice. Food was very good. $50 for 2 ppl. Our order 2 sandwiches and 1 French fries, wings And 2 cans of coke.
