Had a lovely time with my fiance at this restaurant. We enjoyed a variety of dishes from mild to spicy! The service was great. The host explained each dish to us in great detail and accommodated our dietary restrictions. Also, the atmosphere is calm and serene. Check out this spot and put your taste buds on a flavorful adventure!

I have visited this location several times and it has always been great! Order take out last night and it was just as good! Price is fair compared to what you get and the food is amazing.A must visit l!Parking: Unlike a lot of places in Carytown, they have a parking lot.

Very good! We had a reservation, was seated right away. The margarita and cosmopolitan were nicely made. Our appetizers were delivered hot and tasted delicious. The entrees were amazing although I was not asked what spice level I wanted. Our server did check in and asked how the spice was and was quick to bring me some hot sauce to spice my entree up. The garlic naan is amazing. Will be back!

Excellent food and service overall. Cool ambience. Be careful on the spice levels. I asked for Medium but everything came back very spicy and we all felt the heat. And I'm used to eating very spicy so take caution.

Overall my friends and I enjoyed our experience here. The portion size was fair for the amount that we paid. Much better than other Indian restaurants that aren't very generous with the portion size. Everything was seasoned well. This is definitely a nice addition to the Carytown line up.

Spectacular food and incredible service! Highly highly recommend Carytown Indian Cuisine to anyone looking for their next new favorite dinner spot. We ordered takeout lunch on a weekday - I really wanted to try the unique Goat Cheese Croquettes because I love goat cheese and malai kofta. We also got the Samosa Potli, Paneer Masala, and Mushroom Kulcha. All were fantastic! To help paint a picture of the service - I hate cilantro and while ordering, we were told the goat cheese croquettes have cilantro already in them, so it could not be taken out. Since this was the item I was most excited about, we asked if we could cancel the whole order. However, after speaking with the chef, the person on the phone said they would make the croquettes from scratch for us without cilantro! Amazing! The croquettes were mouthwatering in a savory, flavorful sauce - I could taste the goat cheese and loved the unique take. The samosa potli were good as well, served with a tangy dipping sauce. Paneer was tasty also. Finally, mushroom kulcha was well-stuffed with mushroom and peas and was satisfyingly flaky and delicious. Don't miss Carytown Indian Cuisine! A new gem in Richmond.

Absolutely loved our meal. We ordered the chicken masala. And somas to start. It came with basmati rice and nan. All was delicious and our service was excellent. Sorry not to show pictures. I was so busy eating I forgot to write a review. So the review was written late, but no pictures.*. We had mango lassi and rose lassi. And dessert was ras Mali Delicious. Definitely enjoyed our meal. Even though we only ordered one entree to share we still had leftovers. We will be coming back and I will remember to take pictures.

Best Indian I have tried ever!! I am from Ireland, and Ireland and the UK are known for having incredible Indian food. And this is the closest I have found to home! Just amazing. The curries, the naan bread, the rice, the service, the portion size!!! Be prepared to bring boxes home. This is my weekly treat and bring all my visitors here when they visit me in Richmond.

It's the same owners as Jannat, which had already established itself as the best, most authentic Indian food in the Richmond area. Now they've got a Carytown location with "elevated" atmosphere and menu, with the same high standards for food and service.Even if you're not into Indian food, or if you're unfamiliar with it, this place is great. And if you already like Indian food, you're not going to leave disappointed.Extra shout out to AJ, who has been and continues to be the best.

My recent lunch excursion to Carytown Indian Cuisine with my family was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere. We started our meal with some cocktails, each expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. As we perused the menu, we decided to indulge in a variety of appetizers and entrees to sample the breadth of flavors offered. The Lamb Chaat appetizer was a standout, with tender lamb perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. The Gobi appetizer was a delightful surprise, with each bite melting in our mouths and leaving us craving more. For our main course, the Dal Makhani was an absolute hit, with its rich, creamy texture and perfectly balanced spices. It was the epitome of comfort food done right. Additionally, the Mango Kulfi dessert transported us to culinary paradise, with its creamy texture and exotic flavors leaving a lasting impression. However, not every dish was a hit. The Chocolate Lava Cake fell short of expectations, with a disappointing floury texture that failed to deliver on its promise of decadence.Despite this minor hiccup, our overall experience at Carytown Indian Cuisine was nothing short of fantastic. From the delectable appetizers to the sumptuous entrees and delightful cocktails, every aspect of our meal was a testament to the culinary expertise and dedication of the chefs. In conclusion, if you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience that celebrates the vibrant flavors of Indian cuisine, look no further than Carytown Indian Cuisine. Whether you're dining with family, friends, or that special someone, you're sure to leave satisfied and eager to return for more.
