I got very lucky and walked in here after work when there were no lines, I just walked right up to the counter. Had a nice chat with the girl behind the counter who shared the history with me. I learned about Bev, who was in business for like 20 + years who sold the company years ago to a college student and how this young lady now works there too. Bevs is in a perfect location in Cary town. Perfect place to stop after eating lunch or dinner at one of the nearby restaurants. They had a wide variety of ice cream flavors and quite a few specialties. I had a root beer float which was great! I also got one of their apple cider Whoopi's pies and it was amazing! They had a good amount of seating inside and service was very friendly.

Check the hours before heading over. The shop has free 3 hr street parking outside if you get lucky. The side has a ramp into the shop. We didn't see much of the bakery today, but the ice cream satisfied two kiddies and a grown up(espresso Oreo). There is a restroom for customers only. Quite a few shops on this street didn't have restrooms. The waffle cones are the familiar brand of "Joy". The shop has many seats and tables inside.
