We just had an incredible meal at Chez Foushee tonight. We went in for a drink at the bar and takeout, and left with the coolest takeout packaging ever! Most importantly though, our service at the bar tonight was outstanding and the food we brought back to our room was fantastic. We couldn't recommend this establishment highly enough, it has to been one of the best restaurants to dine at in Richmond!
The beautiful setting and delicious food were offset by very poor service provided by Julian.
My partner and I advised Julian that we would be sharing everything we ordered - soup, fried oysters,a baguette and risotto.
The soup was brought to us 5 minutes before we received spoons to consume it with, leaving the bisque cold.
The large, fried oysters were served without small plates to eat them on.

Was honestly kind of disappointed with the dinner here. We got several starters, two entrees and everything was just okay. I expected more flavor but all of the dishes were basic in both flavor and presentation.
Atmosphere was lovely and waitress was great but wouldn’t return for the food :/
