It may be a little on the pricey side, but not too much. The food was outstanding from appetizers to dessert and our server, Oliver, was terrific. Attentive and timely on every course.
Nice way to spend our anniversary on a Sunday evening. Free glass of champagne for anniversaries and half price bottles of wine on Sundays. What's not to love about that? Escargots was creatively prepared and moules were subtle and not over cooked. Chilean sea bass and salmon also delicious. The Bordeaux wine blend paired nicely with our meal. Yummy gooey lava cake finished the meal deliciously. Husband really enjoyed the meal and the vibe. Win win!!
Chez Max is surely on of the finest restaurants in the RVA area. The food is consistently good, the service is experienced and professional, the surroundings are very good, and the atmosphere is quiet - a rare attribute these days!
