Chiocca's is a place you go to a lot if it's near you. Not always so much if it isn't, but you think about it often, the last time you were there, you tell yourself you gotta go again soon. You think about that sub or that one sandwich, those pickles, the PBR is still 3 bucks, you remember every visit fondly. I just moved to Richmond from Orlando and was introduced to this place by a new friend.
That sandwich was fire! It’s a hidden gem of the city and the team working was taking the time to talk to everyone and treat you like family. I told our server that sandwich was something you would eat poolside with your friends. It was something good soooo if you’re in Richmond and looking for a cozy hangout this is it! Definitely will be coming back!

Small hidden basement spot for a great sandwich in nice neighborhood off Monument Ave. Hot dagwood sandwich here. Potato salad was excellent. Looks like they have a pretty cool history, but staff couldn't tell me about it.
