The food is consistently good! Their soups are excellent. They are usually hearty, delicious and gluten-free. The homemade jams are unique and tasty. This is my favorite breakfast spot in downtown Richmond.

First time in Citizen for a quick work lunch with coworker. He recognized my preference for vegetarian options and made the suggestion. Cool little spot with a nice lunch menu. I had the falafel on pita with green salad. The falafel was great and the prep (Thai style) for the pita was so good - pickled cabbage, carrots & daikon radish with basil and cilantro chutney.
