It was good but loud. It was packed with people but we were immediately seated with our reservation. The price is a little high for the portion size. I don't think I would go back mainly due to just how hard it was to actually talk to the people you are with. They put some acoustic panels on the ceiling and along the duct chase or sofits but they don't do nearly enough to dampen the noise level. The hard walls and tile floor just make it an echo chamber. My favorite restaurant in Richmond. This is where I have reservations for my birthday. Recommend sitting on the patio (you can request when you make your reservation through Resy). My go-to is tostadas de pescado which is made with tuna and an incredible smoky chipotle sauce. We also usually get the guacamole and chips. Chips are made with corn that is ground by a local bakery. Also highly recommend the frozen coconut margarita. Can't be beat. Small plates so plan on 1-3...
We had high expectations based on other reviews. The food was good and service was good, but neither was excellent. One salad was drenched in dressing, and one of the beef tacos was just so so. The prices were fair. Probably won't return because we didn't think anything was really outstanding.
