Stopped in with a (hungry) new VCU Ram! I ordered the South Bronx Club and her the Fresh Mozzarella Sandwich - both were amazing! Fresh, full and packed with flavor. I haven’t stopped into Coppola’s in a couple of years - this convinced me, I’ve been away too long!
Thanks to the super staff that put a smile on a college kid’s face! Great lunch experience.

Nice, authentic and tasty. Great customer service. Quaint atmosphere and good food. We ordered the steak subs and they hit the spot. We are from NC so if you’re visiting the VA Richmond area we suggest a stop in to grab a bite.

A Former employee here, even before Tom and his lovely wife took over. So much to be said but I will condenser it. Coppola was then and seems to be now the same as it always has been. Quality food, great atmosphere and an ownership that values its employees as much as it's customers. I will never forget my time there and wish I could have been better than I was. Thank you Tom and Susan. Sincerely Paul Heinzel.

cool old school Italian Deli in Richmond. I had the Industrial and it's the best Italian sandwich I've had in years. Grilled till the cheese was melted and the peppers were just right, just a little spice but not too much. Highly Recommend! my son got the cheesesteak, he's super picky but he liked it as well.

Stopped in for a “authentic” Italian sub. ( I was born and raised in South Jersey and know good food). After looking at the menu on the board, I decided to try the Italian “industrial”. It had literally 2 slices of mortadella, grilled onions, some type of cheap salami,, lettuce , some kind of goop that looked like mayo (yuk) and one tomato slice on each half. It came to us toasted with melted provolone on top, YOU DONT TOAST a ITALIAN SUB !. It was honestly the most DISGUSTING thing I’ve ever eaten. The cook staff was young and just dirty looking. They got me for $44 dollars and I will say this………..I’ll NEVER go back. GARBAGE
The employees were very friendly. The sandwich came out very quickly and thought it had great flavor. My only gripe is that I am use to Boardhead meat, which I believe taste slightly better than the meat used.

It’s a really cute place, very busy which is what made me take notice originally. Very cute space, intimate and cozy. The food was very confidently priced, the bread not quite stale but chewier than I should’ve been. Honestly I wasn’t impressed for a $15 turkey sandwich. A pretty decent wait for a cold sandwich, I’d be prepared to wait and make sure you aren’t in a hurry. For the price I think there are better options that use fresher ingredients, but that’s just my hot take. They are clearly doing well and that’s all any restaurant can ask for these days.

Went in today and got a an Italian hero and was shocked at how terrible it was there was literally no meat on the sandwich and it looked like something I would get served on an airplane. I will never return here when there are better places like Stanley's, chiccoas, and frankly subway in the area
Really great food and awesome customer service.

Solid sandwiches. When a place survives for decades in a changing city, you know that they take their craft seriously. Terrific sandwiches on rolls that stand up to high expectations. The salads, snacks and beverages are not afterthoughts and are craveable on their own.
Really enjoyed this local deli! Food was delicious and the cook/cashier was super accommodating and friendly!
We ordered the lunch boxes (the industrial lunch) and it’s really filling. The serving size for the side that come with it is a good portion. We placed a pick up order and had to wait more than 20 minutes after the pick up time before it was ready but they were very apologetic about it. It gets really busy there but there are plenty of coffee shops next door to grab a drink while waiting for your order.
