Crab Du Jour Cajun Seafood & Bar

CHESTER location .The Food is easily 5 Stars, the service not so much. We received our food before any waters or apps were brought to the table. Constantly had to remind out server Michael to do his job (politely of course). As someone who has been a waitress on the side for YEARS it was super disappointing. I think people complaining of the spice must be quite sensitive to flavor because our table LOVED IT. I was out celebrating a big milestone for my fiancée, a celebration that any server could have easily razzle dazzled and made a special. I left so distraught over the service compared to the food I put in an application to add some GOOD SERVICE to such a potentially AMAZING restaurant.

We actually went to the Juicy Crab and after 20 minutes we never got our drinks we had ordered and thought it would be best to try this place, Crab Du Jour. It was fantastic!! All the food was fresh and delicious. The service was great also! Every team member we spoke to were nothing but polite and professional but also had a great sense of humor. We will absolutely be back and I cannot wait!!

I wasn't overly impressed but the food was good and the atmosphere was nice. To honest the menu doesn't have a lot of choices. I don't see what all them hype is about honestly. This place is a 3rd option type of restaurant.

This place right here is sooo awesome...all the seafood is good..kinda expensive..but it is sooo freaking worth it...soo ugh food u have to get a bag to take the remainder home..I definitely recommend this place 1000%.

First order was good. From there quality consistently got worse. This last order did it for me and I'm not ordering from here anymore.For the cost of the Buffalo wings, I would expect good packaging AND actual Buffalo sauce on my Buffalo wings.?I think you guys should change your name to crab shack or something because you're not living up to a name like Crab Du Jour...

Staff was super nice especially the Servers. I got the headless shrimp and snow crabs in their special sauce. The sauce was very salty and all I could taste was the Lemon Peper. Food was fresh. Most of my shrimp was properly cleaned. Better than other seafood boil restaurants that I've been to.

Waiter was great, mozzarella sticks, the breading had to much of flour taste, inside was good. Calamari was very nice, breading a little to much done. Would have loved home-made fries.

This was my first time at Crab Du Jour. I had high expectations because I love seafood. However the boil that we received had absolutely no seasoning. It was a bag of water down buttery garlic sauce. I could not eat at and began to feel sick to my stomach because I could not enjoy it which was a huge disappointment for me. I informed the staff and her comment was, did he shake it up for you. Yes he did but this flavorless boil had no good ending. My $60 boil was a huge disappointment. I even asked for more seasoning and I received salt packets, more buttery garlic sauce and old bay but it made it worse. The worst part about it no one cared to fix or correct the situation when I brought it to their attention. Sorry but I like to taste my food.

Have been here since 1 pm. No bartender. Still waiting. This place is definitely a not a stop I will make agsin

We thought we would try it but we’re dissatisfied. My appetizer was the raw oysters which was good and my son had wings and were good. My wife ordered the oyster poor boy and I got the shrimp & crawfish boil.Wife’s oysters were nothing but batter and my shrimp were over cooked (rubbery).Then the DJ started up so called music so loud all bass we had to leave the restaurant. The server was good and tried to ask them to turn it down.Sorry, not into rap noise. But that is what the customers like. We will not be returning.

WOW is all I can say at this moment. My aunt surprised me with this delicious seafood feast. Seafood in a bag! Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding. We had Kevin as our server and he provided excellent customer service. I am planning to go back and hopefully I can request Kevin. OH, if you decide to go please try the crab fries. Yes, real crab meat in a sauce that is poured over hot fries. HMMMMMM...

Crab Du Jour Cajun Seafood was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the live DJ, but didn't get the opportunity to make it to the dance floor. My wife and I were both amazed at the portion size of the food. Everything was fresh and satisfying. We both felt it could have been a little more seasoned. Customer service was amazing! Each staff member was kind and helpful. Food came out quickly and they made sure we never had a need for anything. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I drove pass their billboard and figured I'll check it out. I was pleasantly surprised of how good the food was, I'll definitely will be back. The restaurant was really large, clean and the service was outstanding. No complaints here.

New place, but we really enjoyed our food here! Everything tasted fresh. Our server seemed pretty shy, or maybe was just new, but was very sweet all the same. They have a good selection of local and domestic beers and good drinks specials. We got the crab bisque (very good), onion rings (average), and the dozen steamed oysters with the du jour sauce (very good). We also good the du jour special boil, with snow crab, crawfish, and shrimp. We opted for plain (NO seasoning) and mild spice level with the boil, since we weren't sure how hot the spices were, but next time we'll probably get more seasoning because it was pretty bland aside from the flavors of the seafood itself (our fault, but now we know lol). The presentation for the boils is also fun, they bring it out in the bag, and shake it in front of you before setting it on the table. Drinks were okay too, but took a little while to get refilled. Overall a good place, and I'd like to see how they improve in the future!
