I used to enjoy eating takeout from there, but I haven't been able to for the last three weeks or so. Ordering online is not available. Whenever I call to place an order, it goes right to voicemail. The mailbox is full. I tried contacting them through their "Get in touch" box on their web site. I've left my phone and email. My comments have never been answered. I'm guessing if you want to eat here, you have to show up, wait for a table, and then place your order. If you want to eat on the go, this isn't for you. I've called during the work week, between 11:00am and 11:30am - during their posted open hours.

Loved the space and the food. Old school looking diner tables and chairs. I "bought the farm" which had eggs, hash browns, bacon, and pancakes. It was way too much food for one person and I ate it all anyway . Absolutely delicious. It felt slightly overpriced for breakfast diner food - but its surrounded by breweries in Scotts addition so maybe that's part of it. I've heard great things about the ice cream but I have to go back to try it

After waiting over an hour for breakfast- eggs, bacon, toast, and "hash browns" (they were fries with sprinkled cheese on top), it all came out cold to the touch. Not even room temperature, cold. Trying to eat a cold over easy egg is instant nausea, feeling cold slime drip into your mouth is something you should never experience. Would've been fine if someone would have come over to check but no. We sat there for another 20 minutes with full plates of cold food. It's one thing if one of us didn't like it but it was literally everything, even the toast was bad. When the waitress finally came back over she didn't even ask how things were or why we still had entire full plates of food, just dropped the check and ran. Seemed like they were struggling on all fronts so we didn't want cause a disturbance, we paid and got out of there fast. Not sure where all the praise was coming from because the table besides us also waited that long and also had cold food. We are extremely disappointed to say the least, was looking forward to a classic diner breakfast but it was so far from that. Still nauseous, still hungry.

Cute diner in the middle of Scotts Addition near several breweries. Solid menu options and prices. Was disappointed in the amount of fruit in the cobbler of the day.

Arrived 12:30 for lunch and it was closed. Group arriving just before us stated they had a reservation for 12 and weren't given the courtesy of a phone call, canceling their reservation. The Dairy Bar was the place to go prior to the new management/owners taking it over a couple years ago. It's been slow service, like warm food and apparently a crap shoot whether they will open or not. Say, "Goodbye, Felicia."

Took a century to get my food. Then when it finally came out it was not even hot I mean barely warm. I came from California to try this amazing food I hear about and it was terrible. I only had eggs hashbrowns and gravy with a biscuit. Definitely needs improvement.

An absolute awful experience. Waited at the table for 2 and a half hours before our food came. The staff said it was their second day at max capacity. It's completely reasonable that they will be busy and overwhelmed(they clearly were). It was explained that the wait was due to our order ticket getting lost. This would not have been an issue if our waitress had been attentive and visited the table more than once every 45 When our food finally arrived it was very underwhelming. The steak with the steak and eggs was dry and tasted like cardboard. All the eggs were cold by the time they got to the table. One member of our party asked for a sandwich that never came. Another member asked for no tomatoes in his omelette. When the omelette arrived the meat was in strange chunks and the only vegetable that was included were tomatoes. The terrible food only made the experience that much worse. The manger was very nice however. The milkshakes were a small bright spot in a disappointing experience.

Cute spot, very friendly staff, and good diner food. I wish I was able grab a milkshake.

What a find! Went there for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Service was great! Our coffee cups never got below half full before they would be topped off. Food was so good! They make their own hollandaise sauce and crabcakes! Both were outstanding. The omelet was filled with big chunks of chosen add-ins. I would definitely go back next time I'm in Richmond!

Posting this review on behalf of my fiancé: Local establishments are supposed to be about community and exceptional service, along with great food. I was asked to sit outside since I brought my dog and a waiter pointed me the last table available. I was there for over 20 minutes without a single moment of recognition. Not one waiter or staff members approached me. Offered to help me. Or even so much as glanced my way. When I left out of frustration another table gave me a knowing look suggesting their service wasn't much better. I would never recommend this place based purely on their lack of caring.
