One of my all time favorite Mediterranean places. They do a modern take on the traditional foods. Everything we have tried has been fantastic.

Demi’s is hands my favorite restaurant in the Northside (and one of my favorites in Richmond!). Really incredible dishes and an excellent dip menu with warm pita or veggies. I love this spot for a date night, or a cozy night at home with takeout. The chicken piccata and the sausage pasta are incredible.

Food was good but omg so slow getting the food. We arrived at 6:30pm left at 8:55pm don't go here if you want your meal fast . This was our 2nd time both times super slow in getting our meals. Thus it will be our last time as well.

I'm Greek. Go to Greece yearly too. Demi's is easily top 3 in RVA. They claim to be 'mediterranean' but yeah, they're Greek.

My first time there and it was fantastic.

I'm going to keep my review short here or else I'll go back.

FOOD: Ordered a little bit of everything. Octopus was well cooked, not rubbery - lots of flavor. Spanakopita was decent with thick dough - not spectacular though. Would pass on it next time for something else. Pastistio was great - just would've preferred a bechamel than a vodka sauce. Shrimp Santorini was a banger and needed a spaghetti to mop it up.

The dessert is a Galaktoboureko (mouthful of syllables) - it's kind of like a Portugeuse egg tart with a light cream, sounds weird but is great.

SERVICE: Great for a local spot.
PRICES: Very reasonable.

OVERALL: I'll be coming back!

Second time at Demi's - not disappointing. Very good Mediterranean-style food; outstanding service, including the bartenders; good pacing of the meal; reasonable prices. The only negative was, again, the fact that the place is so loud! Not a large space, tables fairly close together, and usually busy - so maybe no way to address the noise.

Food delicious. They will not split a bill for six or over. It would seem the Michener would do this but waitress stated she didn’t have time. Disappointing end to a lovely meal.
