If I could give a separate five star rating to the two employees inside, I would. They were very friendly and courteous.However, this Einstein Bros. Bagels on West Broad St. in Richmond, Va just barely gets a two star rating.The atmosphere inside is uninspiring and empty. If you’re looking for a coffee shop with a warm, welcoming vibe, this is not it. There are no tables inside, they are all outside, which was not a problem today as the weather is very nice this morning. But if it were raining or cold, outside seating would not be an option.I ordered an apple pastry, which looked good, but turned out to be bland and devoid of any apple filling inside. It was served cold and was dry and tasteless. I only took two bites. The rest went in the trash.I also ordered a cup of dark roast drip coffee. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. It was very weak on flavor for a dark roast and it came out of the carafe at a luke warm temperature.Overall this was a disappointing experience and I would not visit this establishment again. Seek your coffee, bagels and pastries elsewhere.

First time at an Einstein Bros. I walked in and the two women working didn’t acknowledge me until i made direct eye contact with them. They then proceeded to treat me as though I was interrupting their conversation (that they continued from the moment I walked in and throughout the entire time I was in the store). The woman serving me gave me attitude for asking where the straws were. Horrible.

If I could leave a negative star I would. This is the most disgusting thing I have ever had from this location. I’ve been here before and never had this issue. I literally just ordered from door dash I received my food and I opened the SEALED bag with a live ROACH! In my food, it gets worse from here the cream cheese was also warm! My husbands coffee had black specs floating in it! This location needs to shut down I will be calling Henrico health inspector to have this place looked into.

What a terrible business model to remove indoor seating. Its friccin freezing outside and people like to sit down during their break. Screw upper management for ruining the restaurant for everyone. “We get to run with less staff and do more mobiles which means more money” okay greedy chucklenuts. Place will be shut down in a year tops

I was the only one in the restaurantWell, two of the employees behind the counter were talking and laughing before anyone served me. Terrible customer service and I work in the healthcare field, so it’s all about how you interact with individuals. Obviously the food is standard, nothing too exciting about a bagel and cream cheese. However my thought is if you don’t wanna work don’t work, but if you gotta work and pay bill don’t take it out on the customers.

So slow we didn't even order. Nowhere to sit. No one even looked at us with 4 people working. Just stood at the counter for 5 minutes and walked back out.
Watched a lady with glasses, short hair in a pony tail with a collared Einstein shirt make my cold brew shake wrong twice. Also put wayyyy too much syrup in the regular cold brew coffee I ordered and didn’t stir it. I assume she’s a shift lead bc of the collared shirt which is sad. $18 for two incorrectly made drinks.

They’ve cleared out the place as if they’re planning to close. I just wanted a cafe to sit and have coffee for 20 min after dropping my dog next door but I literally could only sit outside (it is 31 degrees today so not my preference). There is a vast, empty space inside and a sign on the door stating the dining room is closed to customers. It’s not closed though since you can go inside to order and get your food, it just doesn’t have any tables or seating. Not what I expect from an Einstein Bagel Co location and am unsure what the issue is. Food and service was as expected from them, just a really weird/inhospitable vibe due to the physical space.

All of the Einsteins in the area are trash, long wait times even with no line, no seating, no cleanliness, employees wasting time, incorrect food, I could go on. I want a refund lmao it costs less to buy the ingredients and make it at the house and at least my eggs won’t be green and crusty like Einsteins. Not an efficient place to order from at all unless you want to wait 30 minutes which defeats the point of a breakfast “family friendly restraunt” if there’s no seating and takes abnormally long is it even a restaurant?

I don't how this location stays open. My third time disappointed so I just gotta say something. The pandemic did a number on this place I guess. Just expect a cold atmosphere, cold food and what ever bare minimum experience can be given. We all love a good bagel but this location is pretty sad.
