Not an extravagant upscale spot, or much server service, but I went for the food. It hit THE SPOT! If you want the pineapple on pastor you have to ask for it, but they sautée it with the meat 👌🏽👌🏽 everything was fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend... I'm Mexican, born and raised chilango and I know when the food is legit

This place is vibrant, welcoming, and full of life, with kind staff and a strong family-oriented atmosphere. It offers a mix of a cozy restaurant and a lively bar, with affordable prices and generous portions of classic Mexican dishes. Each visit has been a pleasant surprise, and it’s clearly a popular spot for families especially after church. Highly recommended for its great food, value, and warm, authentic vibe.

Recommended by my CoStar colleagues during a training trip from Phoenix, El Chido turned out to be one of those rare finds that make you grateful for local intel. Tucked behind a gas station, it’s the kind of hole-in-the-wall spot that might make you second-guess your Uber ride—until the food arrives.

Despite being a bit of a drive from downtown, it was a quick and easy trip, and absolutely worth it. I went with a few colleagues, and every dish hit the mark....
