I thoroughly enjoyed Firebirds Wood Fired Grill during brunch hour (weekends only). The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were very friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed. The food was delicious. A definite try if you like seafood will be the shrimp and grits (cajun gravy was not spicy). Another dish to try is the salmon benedict, which was very flavorful. We also tried the cream brulee cheesecake and brownie with ice cream. Yum Yum!! The price point was $ 65.00.Would revisit and recommend.

This is solely based on my child's mac n cheese. Probably some of the most inedible garbage I have ever tasted. I placed this as an order for pickup so maybe in restaurant its better. Such a waste of money, my kids all said it was bad, I and my wife tried and it tasted like it was mixed with some kind of chemicals. Made the entire rest of the meal taste bad. I've never left a food review but this is something I honestly have to review. Wow, just awful. I can't recommend anything after that. Save your money, eat anywhere else.

Update! The worst experience last Friday,15th (dinner). First, we walked in & the hostess rudely said if we didn't make reservations then the wait is 45 mins to1 hour; or we can sit at the high tables by the bar. Where is it posted on Firebirds Wood Grill website that the restaurant takes reservations only? Because we hadn't eaten since breakfast, we chose the high tables which we later realized was horribly cold & apparently where the servers come in & out of the kitchen, but we were going to make it work.Secondly, we waited about 10 mins then a female server came out & took the couple (non-people of color) who was seated 10 mins after we were seated. We knew she noticed that we looked her way. After she brought the couple their drinks she stoops down at our table & tells my friend & I that M**k will be our server, howeve she'll take our drink order. 5 mins later, M**k comes pass us & says I'll be bringing your drinks shortly. 6 mins go by and I see M**k picking up dirty plates off of his customers (I think) tables. I say to my friend, I hope that's not our drinks on that tray surrounded by dirty dishes?!!! M**k proceeds to our table sits the tray filled with dirty dishes and our drinks down on the low bench beside us; M**k says a 'tea & a coke?' Wait...what?!! I told M**k, we don't won't those drinks like that. M**k gets upset, abruptly picks up the tray and storms off saying....'Well.' Well what?! How dare me & friend not accept drinks under unsanitary conditions? How dare we expect to be treated with respect? Of course my friend got up & left! We were definitely not going to trust M**k or anyone, at that point, with food or drinks. We asked ourselves, if we weren't people of color; would the hostess been friendlier?! Would the female server had taken our order first, like she should of?! Would M**k have brought over our drinks surrounded by dirty dishes?! We went to a neighboring restaurant, had a great meal & as usual left a great tip for great service. We don't know what's going on with Firebirds Wood Grill- Chesterfield but I hope this updated review will help upper management discuss the "first impression" rule, go over infection control procedures & biased behavior.Haven't visited Firebird's in a long while. It was just as I remembered. Good friendly service. Food order was tasty and very well prepared. Definitely going back soon!

I ordered the steak and cheese egg rolls, honey garlic chicken, creme brule cheesecake, and a blood orange tamed mule. Everything was really good but the honey garlic chicken only tasted of balsamic vinegar. My favorite had to be the pgilly cheesesteak egg roll appetizer. The cheesecake had a nice crisp top and fruit sauce. I'd definitely go back to try more

The fries were cold and the beyond burger overly seasoned. I could have complained, I am sure they would have brought fresh fries but that should have been done to start. Service was excellent.Vegetarian options: Beyond burger available but can be overcooked and over seasoned. The port mushrooms are delicious.

The food is great, the service was great but the fact that it's right across the street really sets this place apart. So for anyone who lives...uh...in..my house, this is the spot to go to.
Four of us adults had four different meals from the menu on Christmas Eve. All meals were totally delicious. We ate on the patio at around 3PM. It was pleasantly cool and the experience was very enjoyable.
Firebirds is not what it used to be the food was absolutely unbeatable today our table order 2 seabass Entree both RAW 2 ribeye steak sandwhich raw and tough and a filet that was ordered well done and it came out you guessed it RAW used to love this place but after todays experience it will definitely be our last

I had lunch with a friend. I decided to try something different so I got the fish filet sandwich and salad. I was not disappointed. I could only eat half of it, and took the rest home for dinner. The server was excellent, always checking on us even though we were there over two hours. My friend got the shrimp and strawberry salad. We talked so much, she took half of hers home as well. I look forward to my next meal there.
