Dropping 2 stars on food as on both my visits the Hollandaise Sauce on the Eggs Benedict was way to sweet !!! I thought on my first trip that the person making it had slipped up -- but on the second it was the same. Not sure if it is freshly made or some commercial scoop out of a can. As I love Eggs Benedict I will probably go again - but I am going to mention this issue when I order ! Otherwise the dish was EXCELLENT .. perhaps I will hedge my bets with Hollandaise on the...

Consistently, I am warmly welcomed by the host and waitstaff (not just my waiter, by the whole team makes the effort, which makes a big difference). My waitress today was quietly slipping me refill drinks before I needed them, anticipating just the right time. Farmhouse hash was exceptionally good today - and that artisan wheat toast is always spot on. The convenience of paying on your phone and no more standing in line at hostess stand to pay makes the First Watch experience...
