This is the best value-for-money Chinese food!!!! I had the best Thursday night eating takeout Fujian. The sizes are ample! The prices are very reasonable! Their speed is also remarkable. With everything going up in price I am very grateful for their meals and service.

Best Chinese food in the Fan (and possibly RVA). So glad they’re still around. Highly recommend the steamed dumplings and General Tso’s Chicken! Service is super fast; we usually get our food within 15 minutes of calling.

I love this place; they give you buckets of food and hardly charge you anything. And the buckets taste good too!

The humble setting doesn't tell you what delights are cooked in the kitchen. We ordered out and the food was ready upon arrival. For 5 people we ordered 3 appetizers and 4 entrees. It was more than enough. Spicy dishes were well-seasoned, veggies were hot and crispy, and each dish was distinct.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Perhaps it was the owner who carried part of my order with me to a parking lot! We paid $90 for dinner for 5...
And we had leftovers. We will definitely go back.

Take out only, but the food is delicious, especially when you consider the amount that you get for the price that you pay.

I was a loyal customer until today when they wanted to go back hours after I scheduled and paid for a delivery. Apparently they neglected to mention on the ordering page that there was an upcharge. I went back to double check and nope.... No mention of it. So in essence they charged my credit card again (which is illegal) for what was their mistake. when I called them on it they cancelled the entire order. Thieves. I will never order from them again.

Let me start by saying if i could give a zero star rating, I would. Yesterday night I ordered a general tso chicken combo with plain lo mein like I always do from this location. However yesterday, I guess they were in a silly goofy mood because when I got home, I started eating my food and the third bite i took had a little crunchy texture to it . If 1+1=2 , why is my lo mein and chicken crunchy ? I spit out my food and I see that there’s a whole entire finger nail in my food. I called the store and explained to them the situation and they denied all claims of a finger nail being in my food ; how can they tell me what i did or did not have in my food as if they ate it ? They told me I could bring it back and they would make me a new one . Why would I want another bowl of food after I just found a nail in my first combo ? So I told them that I could bring the food back but I wanted a refund. The receptionist continuously told me to hold on while she spoke to the cooks (which were yelling in the background) and she returns back to the call and tells me to come to the store with the food and I’ll get a refund. When I get there , there are about 5 cooks in the back and the receptionist and they all look at me because obviously I was the young lady that called and I had a bag in my hand. The receptionist opens up the container and examines the food and an older lady and man come from the back and they’re looking at the food and they pause and say : “Where’s the nail?” . If i took a bite of my food and spat it out because there was something in it , why would I place the object back into the food ? Good thing i took a picture though so I showed it to them. I swear to god the moment I showed them they started screaming in my face and throwing their arms in my face as well. The receptionist then says “No that’s not true that’s not us. We thought it was a piece of a finger nail not the whole thing. That’s not possible.” So then I proceed to tell them that I don’t care if it was a quarter , an eighth or a half of a nail. There was a nail in my food and since I was told i’d get a refund if i brought it back , that’s what i’m expecting and i don’t care to argue. From that moment on the older man screamed and said “NO YOURE NOT GETTING A REFUND” and they both proceeded to yell at me for about 5-7 minutes but I couldn’t really react because they weren’t speaking in a language that I understood. Obviously by their mannerisms, volume, and tone which they were speaking at … it was apparent that they were saying some not so nice things. At the end of the day I’m a college student in Richmond by myself so I’m not going to argue with randoms at a restaurant so i told them I’m going to call the cops and the man got in my face and said “CALL THE COPS” so that’s what I proceeded to do until the receptionist came and asked me what I ordered and mentioned that she would void the transaction. Overall their food is good but because of the way I was treated and the attitude they gave me despite them being a business, i would NEVER go there again. Their behavior was disgusting and you’d never think something like this would happen to you until it does ! And for that , you guys get zero stars in my books. I was a returning customer that has been there multiple times and at that, the container was full when i brought it back. You guys should be ASHAMED of yourselves.

Didn’t even get to order. Left because service from young girl was bad. She wasn’t rude. I asked for any 2 thing off the menu. I’m new to the area and wanted to try anything. Maybe that’s annoying request but she was too overwhelmed by that and left then when she came back just kept asking me what I wanted and I said whatever your popular dish is. After some back and forth I just left.
They seemed to be working very hard and are stressed. I’d like to see them do better but maybe they’re just burnt out.

Only order all-meat dishes from here, the quality will still be poor, but if you order anything with vegetables all you will get is vegetables

Food quality is horrible. Old rice, old veggies. Food smelled. Unacceptable. Ordered veggie fried rice and spring rolls.

I placed an order tonight for sizzling beef and scallops. There was nothing sizzling about it. The beef was stewed not crispy and the scallops were tough and very "fishy" tasting. The broccoli was very undercooked and it was all swimming in a brown sauce that was completely lacking in flavor. So disappointed. Will not be ordering anything in the future from Fujian.
