Gigi’s Tea is amazing! It has a great atmosphere, cozy in the winter, relaxing in the summer and the customer service is great too. The tea is really refreshing, especially the fruit tea (the fruit smoothies as well).

It always smells so good in there and the people are so sweet!! EVERYTHING is good here and the atmosphere is nice and calm. Try the bubble waffles and literally any smoothie.

The tea is delicious! I wish there was a brown sugar milk tea as an option. The last time I went the cups had lips as opposed to being sealed which made it more susceptible to spilling.

I've had bubble tea from many places in RVA, but this is by far my favorite! There are a lot of great flavors, the atmosphere is nice (good for doing homework in lol), and the owners are very kind. My favorite drink is the lychee black tea - I'd suggest that if you wanna try a fruit tea that isn't too sweet. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area and are craving a little treat :)

tried it for the first time last night, now i’m officially addicted! went back to get the jasmine and matcha mix tea. flavors are delicate and perfectly balanced (not too sweet, thank goodness) and the boba were flavorful and perfectly chewy. ILY GIGI TEA

Terrible customer service would not order here again. Ordered hot taro tea with pearl bubbles and the owner said it will take time to thaw because the red bean is frozen... even though I didn't order red bean jelly.
I asked for less sugar and the tea was extremely sweet, probably the sweetest I've ever had taro tea. So I asked him if I could have it with less sugar like I originally ordered and he was extremely rude. He proceeded to angrily throw the hot, nearly full, large tea into the trash can (liquid and all😨), made a point to make an angry and annoyed face and audibly sighed in frustration because he had to spend 2 minutes to remake it. Poor emotional regulation from the owner resulting in terrible customer service. The old man is so petty he made a point to say thank you to my friend as we were leaving and not to me lol

My #1 spot in city for bubble tea. Best thai tea ive ever had. Incredible people that own & run the place, theyre always incredibly sweet and hard working. Support this mom and pop store over the other chain boba places that keep popping up nearby on campus. These folks are the real deal.

Lovely little place and Gigi is so kind, welcoming, and confident in her craft as she should be! Our first visit drinks were delicious and priced well, non dairy options are yummy too! We were admiring her beautiful plants and she offered to give us a clipping, and then proceeded to put on gloves and dig out a full rooted plant that is easily worth multiples of what we paid for the drinks, and we are reminded of her generosity each time we look at it. We will be back a lot, and I will recommend this place to anyone who will listen!! Best boba I've tried by far
