My first experience trying Afghanistan cuisine, and it was AMAZING! I ordered the family platter to get a little bite of everything. The Mantu was just incredible the lamb pulled right off the bone. The other meats were juicy and seasoned perfectly.
came here when i first started going to vcu in 2022 and went back again about a month ago after graduating. their food was always delicious, i think they have closed down which is so unfortunate. they were definitely a richmond staple
This review is a bit late after my initial visit, but the fact that I made sure to to leave a review a month later should tell you all you need to know! My mom and I came in about 1hr before closing time and were so glad we chose this over Hangry Joe’s. The food was fresh as if handpicked from a garden and the meat perfectly tender.
