Ordered sausage burrito but it was a taco burrito? Taco/mexican meat seasoning , wasn't mentioned on menu. We were also the first ones there and the burrito took about 30 mins. The coffee and bagel were good though. Wasn't the worst, but likely won't be back for anything besides coffee.

Cute little coffee shop. Only outside seating but it was a nice day so that worked for us. Good coffee and bagel.

Run by amazing staff, have become a regular at this spot. Best chai latte I've found in Richmond so far, As well as they have a wonderful selection of sandwiches. I typically go for the Maymont melt and ask to add sliced beef and have not been disappointed. Always have new latte's and chai based on the season, Only downside is that they are not open on weekends, but other than its amazing!

There is a little bit of a wait because I believe there's only one chef. The wait is worth it because the food always comes out good. When I want breakfast I get the salmon bagel. It is a huge portion and enough to take for leftovers. There is no indoor seating.

I come here pretty much every week. The breakfast sandwiches are great and the lavender iced matcha tea latte is amazing - literally probably the best I've ever had (way better than Starbucks). They are only serving takeout right now so there is no seating inside but they have a few tables and chairs outside. Both people who work there are really nice. The woman at the front is always welcoming and works hard. There's usually a bit of a wait because everything is made to order and I believe it's just the two of them. I try to call ahead to avoid a long wait time. I will continue to come here!

Was looking for a pick me up after I took a local exercise class. Found this gem about 5 min away. I thought it was a sit down cafe, but it appears to just be walk up at the moment. The person who served me was super nice and helpful. They have a small table or two outside if you'd like to stay. I had a pumpkin coffee and to be honest it wasn't my favorite. I'd be back to try some of the sandwiches or baked goods, but I'd try a different coffee to give it another shot.

So good, I used to go all the time. But now they're closed on weekends....Must be nice to not work and get to go during the week....since they aren't open early enough to go before most normal work hours...

Went here for a nice sit-down brunch with my daughter based on all of the 5-star reviews. Incredibly disappointing. Door was blocked by a card table set up for carry out only. No access to the inside seating. My coffee was nothing to right home about. Don't bother.

My mom and I had the Parisienne and Main St. You could feel the love as you eat the sandwich. The sandwich's we're done perfectly and the drinks were fantastic! I had the matcha with almond milk and lavender syrup, if you're a matcha lover this is a MUST try! the Chocolate peppermint ice latte, my mom says, was fantastic. Food and drinks are all made with love! Thank you SO MUCH for the amazing meals and drinks! The colors around the coffeehouse were beautiful and it looks like a hole in the wall type of place with some seating outside which is perfect! This whole experience was lovely!

I got a peppermint and dark chocolate, iced coffee and all I can say it is probably the best coffee I have ever had. Simply delicious!!! The lady that served me was absolutely amazing and nice!

Very disappointing. Banana was old and mushy. Food was so basic and flavorless. Even "everything bagel" tasted like nothing.Weird place. No indoor seating - you can't even go inside, just order through a window, next to a bunch of random doll houses.Website said there was indoor seating and photos backed that up - very misleading.

SO GOOD! the customer service was great, food was tasty and coffee was delicious. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with egg, Turkey and Muenster on sourdough with a regular drip coffee. I'll definitely be back! Hopefully they open the inside soon! Thankfully the weather was nice and they offer seating on the sidewalk. Super plus that this is a black owned business! Stop scrolling and go to Greenbrier neow!

I was getting my hair done next door today at 1213 and needed lunch super close considering I had foils in. I made a great choice. Greenbriar made one of the BEST turkey sammiches I've ever had- it was slightly sweet, sharp, fresh, creamy...literal perfection. The sammich is called The Fan and I will be returning asap since I only had time to eat half of it.

Do you remember that episode of SpongeBob where he has to compete with King Neptune to make the best burger? The one where Neptune makes 1000 mediocre burgers and SpongeBob takes his time making just one, but it’s the tastiest and best burger there was? That’s how Greenbriar Cafe is compared to every coffee shop in Richmond when it comes to breakfast sandwiches. Their food and drinks can take a little bit of time to make and some days they’re high in demand, but everything is made with love and the portions are worth the money. Highly recommend their breakfast sandwich with sausage as they make their pattys in house and are almost as thick as a burger, and if you need something to cover both breakfast and lunch, their burritos are massive.Every month they update their menu with fun drink specials too. Highly recommend this coffee spot for regulars and visitors from out of town.
