Today was the last day Hatch was open and it's just all around sad to see such a great concept close. RIP to the original idea of Hatch. Hopefully Richmond can get a food hall in the future!!!

I love everything about hatch local food hall. The space itself is so well lit, inviting and comfortable. In terms of food, I have only had good experiences in the many times I have gone to Hatch Local. All of the staff are very friendly! My recommendation is to bring a friend or two so that you can get a bite from multiple stands and share. I'm so sad that hatch is closing at the end of March and will be going often until then!

This was a lovely place and I totally love this idea of sharing space like a food court. I went to the Greek food spot and I absolutely loved it. I’m from Philly and this place makes me want to move here. The young man that was at the counter was super friendly and fast. My lunch was perfect.

Not many people on a Friday night which to some is good, but we were looking for a little bit of atmosphere. The tofu fried rice was delicious, crispy, and flavorful! The drinks are Richmond prices, but they do have a good selection of cocktails.

The staff and Rachel, the manager, made everything seamless. The food was great -- loved the international variety. A great place to host an event, especially since there is room for cornhole entertainment.

I have been on a quest to find a cheesesteak that matched the one I had in Maui, of all places. 5 years, trips to Pennsylvania included, nothing even close. I finally found not only an equivalent, but it was better. Adding the homemade pickles and hot peppers made this the best, most flavorful cheesesteak I have ever had. And now I don't have to travel 5000 miles to get it.Additionally, while I love food courts for being able to please to a broader crowd (namely picky children), this places solves the need to wait in a series of lines ... as you can order through your waiter across each place all ag once, no lines.The rest of the food was also great, especially the Slam Dunk taco. I would say j am looking forward to trying more, and I am, but only if there is room after a 12 inch cheesesteak from Fat Kid Sandwiches.
So, when can you take a photo of an item you've ordered and it actually matches how good it looks on the menu? Awesome Greek salad, and dressing! Cant speak on any other menu items yet but you better believe I will be in the future. Now, that's a damn salad!

Disappointed in this place, ive been three times to give it a fair shot but the food is overpriced for what it is - paid $18 for a chicken sandwich which was cold and fries that were soggy. The food is sub-par, plenty of other Richmond establishments with better food.

What a cool establishment worth visiting, and revisiting. Several different options are available, and from what I hear others come and go frequently. Fat Kid Sandwiches has a decent Philly. Good price, good flavor, and different size options. The atmosphere was a relaxing vibe. Bar in the center for adult beverages and outdoor seating areas when the weather cooperates.
