We had reservations for brunch on Sunday. The place was packed and people were waiting but we were seated at our reservation time.. It was very busy but the service was good, the food delicious and a lovely time was enjoyed.
Just love the staff at Helen's. They serve with grace and humor, and were very patient with us when it took longer for us the make decisions than it should have. Can't say enough good about this restaurant.
The sides were amazing, we had the Brussel sprouts, Roasted Cauliflower, Curried Carrots and the Crostini. Shrimp and Grits was good but I would definitely try something different next time (the sauce was tomato-based). The drinks were outstanding and our server was attentive and very personable. The noise level was about what you'd expect at a Fan restaurant. We definitely plan to return to Helen's.
