First time trying hot pot or even hearing about it so I wasn't sure what to expect. We went there for my daughter's 18th birthday. She loved it, but my son and I felt it was ok. To be clear its not that the food isn't good, but moreso the idea of going out to a restaurant but having to cook your own food is definitely a concept I'm not sure I enjoy. I also chose to not get a soup base and instead just did the Korean BBQ. The spicy beef bulgogi was pretty good....
My wife and I came here for the first time this past week. As a first timer, super overwhelming, but our server gave us some pointers on what to do. We had both the hot pot and Korean barbecue. I don't think this is a summer choice necessarily, but could see this place thriving in the winter (not to say they weren't busy even in summer). There's also some really good combinations once you know what you're doing but we were just picking and hoping on a first...
Our group celebrated a birthday here and the experience was excellent! The staff was patient and attentive and our group had fun! We had some allergy issues in our group, but the staff was accommodating and really helped us with food choices.
