This Ironclad location is a drive thru/walk spot with picnic tables, and it fills a void in a coffee shop desert (I don’t count Dunkin). They’re local, which is even better, and the coffee is great! Just be prepared to wait at least 10 minutes for your drink and to experience a little sticker shock at the price. My 16oz vanilla oat milk latte is over $9. The food is also tasty — I’d love to see them offer more savory options, but sometimes...
We visit VA every 3 to 4 months. Always have had great service. The female working today at 8:35am was grumpy. No smile, no welcome, barely spoke. We said good morning to her and had absolutely no response. Young lady you are the face of Ironclad. Do better. Also no apple spice drink this early in the day says someone didn't make the proper preparation.
Apparently some folks have been upset by Ironclad selling out of their pumpkin buns. Remember they’re a small business!! And an incredible one at that!!
I love having Ironclad near us in the West End! The pastries, coffee, and staff at every location are awesome. Every time I go through the airport, I also make sure to stop at one of their two locations there!
