My wife treated me for dinner here as a birthday present. I had a shrimp bowl. The shrimp was excellent but the rice that was part of the plate was bland. Our waiter—Jared— was excellent. Our table was outside, overlooking the James River.

Amazing experience on the patio at islands shrimp co! Went with big group and was seated immediately, our server Joi took fantastic care of us and was super attentive and moved tables to make a space for us! Can't wait to come back

Our Server, Emre, was phenomenal today! He made suggestions that paired lovely with our meals! He was very attentive and friendly! Their Chef, John, came through with a delicious meal for our son who has many allergies but, he made sure to make the right accommodation! We were also checked on by their General Manager, Aly, who was charming and professional while taking care of us! They have a great hospitality team and their food is top notch while enjoying the beautiful view...
