I visited Richmond to see some family and they recommend a must go to. This was some of the best food I’ve enjoyed in Richmond the portions are plentiful especially seeing as I got smalls of everything except for the oxtails I had to grab a large for that. The flavors are authentic my only ask is to include some spice especially for the jerk. It’s not quite like going to Jamaica or even DC or NY but it is a solid pick with amazing prices. Small curry chicken is like 9 bucks...
Of all the states I have a traveled to, as a Jamaican descendant, this has been one of the only Jamaican restraunts I've had that has that Jamaican Authenticity. If I ever come back I'll definitely patronize again.
Food was tasty, nice little sit down spot.
Service was abysmal,
reminds me why I prefer to eat at home and skip the reminder that some people are forced to work somewhere because they have no other options.
Therefore making the experience of eating somewhere less pleasant. Altogether bad for business alongside putting piping hot food on styrofoam so it melts and seeps plastics into my food? Nah
