I ordered curry goat, cabbage and yams. My kid ordered curry chicken and rice. Both dishes were flavorful and fresh. The goat had a small amount of bones and there was lots of flavorful meat. I’ve never had goat without a few bones because it makes it more flavorful, so a couple bones didn’t surprise me. The portions were generous and the staff is friendly!
I've had good food from here twice. My first order was Jerk Chicken with rice and cabbage, and it was delicious, so I returned a second time. I ordered Jerk Salmon and Shrimp with rice and cabbage this go-around, which was fantastic. I've likely been to every Jamaican restaurant in Richmond and the surrounding counties, and my biggest concern is that the food is somewhat overpriced compared to other Jamaican restaurants in the area. The food was subpar I had the curry chicken it was flavorless and the steam cabbage was over cooked and had sugar in it 🤢. The best part of the meal was the plantains and the beef patty.
