I have been going to Joe's in since 2000, when I first moved to Grove Ave. I had my first legal drink there when I turned 21. And I've had many first dates there. It is, without a doubt, the vision of a corner bar. When they show places like home town bars in movies or shows, it always makes me think of Joe's. If you are looking for food or a drink or just a great place to get coffee and read the paper. You should go to Joe's. Warning : the after church crowd is not a nice group of people to be around. But maybe that is just my experience.

Had friends visiting Richmond who wanted to experience Joe's Inn. Happened to be a very busy day for Joe's Inn because of the 10K on Monument Ave. The hospitality, service, and quality of the food was exceptional. The staff was ready for a hungry, energetic crowd.Vegetarian options: There are numerous vegetarian options. One member of our party is vegetarian, and she is the one who steered us there, because her prior experience was so good. Those of us who are not vegetarians had great options, too.Parking: It's in the Fan, but on-street parking spaces do not require permits in this area.Kid-friendliness: A few children were there, they fit into the atmosphere but did not dominate it.

We were greeted as soon as we entered this comfy local establishment in The Fan District of Richmond for a late lunch. We were seated immediately, our drink order and food order were taken in quick succession by very friendly servers. I had the portobello sub and my husband had the tuna salad sub. The sub bread for each was fresh and delicious, as were the subs. They also have an extensive beer selection. We will definitely be back on our next trip thru Richmond!

Found good reviews in google so we tried this place. Well maintained. We ordered the famous spaghetti greek that comes along with either salad or soup and fried chicken liver with two side dish. While waiting they will serve bread with butter. The appetizer plate was warm (liked it) however, I wish the bread was hot too.In less than 30 minutes our order arrived. The portion of both dishes can be eaten by 2-3 persons. Both tastes satisfactorily. But as the evenings passed by, it became crowded and rackety. The server (forgot his name) was kind.Parking: parallel parking along the streets

Great local restaurant. Always look forward to their pasta dishes and Greek salad. Great wine list too!
Nice vibe in the place, always had friendly prompt service. The portion size is large. Seating is a bummer, hard wood benches.

Joe’s Inn the Fan is a great spot for any meal for groups or solo in Richmond, with their Chicken Parmesan, available as both a sub and a dinner, being a personal highlight. The place also boasts a solid breakfast including mimosas and a comprehensive draft beer list with a bunch of local options. It’s a dependable choice for any meal, offering quality and variety.

The best baked spaghetti with meatballs, pepperoni, Italian sausage, and mushrooms that are to be found in Richmond. Service was attentive and excellent. Try the carrot cake if you have room!

Food was good, and breakfast all day is hard to find! I went around 4pm because I was craving pancakes and eggs. Very happy with my choice! I got the big breakfast, and it was bigger than I thought and I was actually surprised it was so cheap. Liv gave great service and I’ll be back to try more for sure.
