Such a welcoming spot for breakfast! Even on a busy Saturday morning, the wait wasn’t long, and we were kept updated while our table was being prepared. Heidi was wonderful, she kept our coffee topped off and checked that everything was just right. The French toast was delicious: three thick slices with the perfect hint of cinnamon. Came here on a Wednesday evening and sat in the main dining room, which shares the space with the bar. It was really loud, so we ended up moving next door to the other dining area, which was much quieter and we could hear eachother
I had the lasagna, which I thought was good but not great - too much tomato paste. My wife had the Greek salad and really enjoyed it.

Joe’s Inn is a top-tier RVA classic. There’s really nothing else to say other than good things. Great food, great atmosphere, and the kind of place that just feels like Richmond.
There’s a reason Joe’s Inn has been around for so long and continues to be a Richmond staple. Some restaurants come and go, but places like this stick around for a reason. Always a great experience and absolutely worth a visit.
