Joe's Italian Grill and Pizzeria

Ordered online and arrived before the time I was given and they had already closed the doors and didn't answer the phone.

this place is not great. ordered pizza magherita with extra mozz slices. went to pick it up and the box was not as warm as i expected a fresh pizza to be. i only live literally around the corner and picked it ip on time, so that was strange.

got home and opened the box to a travesty of a pie. it was entirely cold, seemed like it had been sitting for hours. cheese was hard but had been melted at one point. what seemed to be a can of diced tomatoes was dumped on top of it, along with the juice. so not only was the pizza cold and cheese congealed, it was soaking wet in the center.

tried to save this “pizza” by heating it in the oven, but only the crust would come out of the box. couldn’t lift a slice at all because it was so wet.

this was not at all a pizza magherita and nothing like what they advertise. the first time i came here in 2020 was a great experience, great food, friendly staff. not sure what has happened since then but unless you are getting something that is pre-frozen and fried like mozz sticks or fried ravioli, hard avoid this place.

WTH, Joe's?? I went thru the whole sign up process for 1st order discount, placed my order, got confirmation and 20 MINUTES LATER I receive a cancelation email? Tried calling & cannot understand person who answered & now can't even get through to find out why it was canceled. If I cd give you 0 stars, I would.

Ordered chicken parm sub and freis. The piece of chicken on the sandwich was shockingly thin and small. They forgot the fries with my order, when I bring it up to the person at the counter, he tries to argue and tells me i didnt order any fries. I pulled up the receipt to show him I did. They then quickly prepared them, but they put the hot fries directly into a styrofoam container, so the container melts a bit onto my fries, gross!

This is my go to place for pizza on the Southside constantly good pizza and stuff.

Roaches RUUUUUUUNNNN

This is the second time I have eaten here. The first was a grub hub delivery. I ordered the calzone but the contents were not was advertised on the menu. This time we ordered the pepperoni roll. They forgot our order and when reminded they tried to hurry and cook the food. When I received it the dough was completely raw inside. My family and I will never eat here again.

Most reasonably priced place I’ve found recently.So far, the meatball sub is delicious. The chicken wrap is good.The fries are always under seasoned, BUT the burger is seasoned so well.I’ve not seen any roaches like other reviews mention, but it is in an older building with a club next door. Also wood roaches/water bugs are pretty common in this area and make their way inside of places sometimes especially during weather changes.

Food was okay service was really bad ! Not welcoming i walked here and wanted to eat my food inside they gave me no choice to eat in they had my food bagged and ready to go but a white couple came in and they sat them down and serviced them way better ! #dobetter

They got my pizza wrong then I had to go to their store and wait for a new one. They threw out the pizza they got wrong and gave me no discount/coupon anything for the hassle of all this. Biggest waste of time never going there again. The pizza is also mediocre at best.

Me and a friend sat down to eat and I saw something moving on her menu. I turned the menu over and there was a roach on her menu. It walked all over the table. We didn’t even get food and got up to leave and saw more roaches on the floor. Will never return.

Order a medium pizza with pepperoni and was charged over 16$ just ridiculous that’s over the price should have been 13.87 not 16.05 . Well if there is one way to loss a customer it’s to steal from them and this is not the first time do not go here they will take your money.

Extremely salty and all this lettuce

May have been ok 30 years ago but this place is dirty, staff doesn't want to be there and food is worse than Stouffer's frozen meals.
