Kahlo’s is such a cool neighborhood spot, with colorful Frida Kahlo decor and a patio I’d love to come back and enjoy on a sunny day. You can feel the neighborhood connection, too. Staff were greeting people like old friends, and our waiter was friendly, funny, and welcoming.

The food was the highlight. We ordered the Nachos de Carnitas, and the pork practically melted in my mouth. So much flavor with just the right little kick. The portion...

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Richmond! And we’ve tried a lot. Everyone who works here is super friendly, the food is consistently good, and the drinks are strong but tasty :) get the carne asada!

We just moved to the area and were looking for a good Mexican spot, and we’re so happy we found Kahlo’s! The food was absolutely delicious, and the tacos were some of the best we’ve ever had. The atmosphere was beautiful, warm, and welcoming, and everyone made us feel right at home.

A special thank you to Haley, who was absolutely wonderful! She was so sweet, attentive, efficient, and genuinely made our first visit even more enjoyable....
