Recent Reviews

La Milpa has delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. The food is well seasoned and served quickly. Ordering maybe a bit of a challenge for a non-native Spanish speaker but the staff is friendly. The atmosphere is very rustic but that is part of the charm.

This place is perfect for a late-night snack since they’re open 24 hours. I went with a group of 20 people around 2:00 a.m., and the staff handled us with excellent service, which was impressive for that hour. I ordered the lengua burrito, and it was really good—tender and flavorful. The only thing I would mention is that the tomatoes were a bit too much for my taste, but overall it was definitely enjoyable.

Simple, authentic, delicious tacos! I love the pulled/ shredded chicken and beef. Tender, juicy and full of flavor. The food and service is fast and efficient. House made salsas — 3 types of salsa verde with different levels of heat. You can’t beat this quality and price of tacos anywhere in Richmond! Been going here 15 years and the food is consistently tasty!
