Dear Lamplighter,
Today my husband brought a bagel Sammy home to me from you guys. The sandwich had havarti cheese, which you had let get a little crispy and bubbly and wonderful. I noticed and appreciated it so much. I don't even care if I never happens again. The beautiful instance of it happening once will ensure that I return over and over again, delighted at the possibility of my sandwich having a crispy little cheese edge. Even if it doesn't I will have been happy to be there..thanks I love you

Super chill coffee shop with great coffee. I had my first espresso and tonic which was exceptional. They helped me pick a bag of beans. This would be my go to coffee shop if I lived in Richmond.

Any beverage or food I've had here has been good but really have to say I won't go back due to the selfish, inconsiderate attitudes of other customers. I saw numerous people individually taking up whole tables of four while they were on laptops and either weren't eating or drinking (even if they were they were sipping free water). There wasn't the slightest thought given to arriving new customers. People should have the good sense to get what they want and then make way for others once they're done.

My favorite coffee shop in Richmond. Delicious food and iced lattes and the staff is always extremely friendly and delivers the food to you at your table. Great place to work, always feel comfortable here.

I recently moved back to RVA and hadn't been inside lamplighter in years. I'm so glad I went in before work for a quick breakfast. The Katie Bagel is literally to die for. Everyone who works there is so sweet and helpful. I'll be stopping in a couple days a week before work for a bagel and coffee.

I love coming here when I have a bad morning because they put me in such a good mood. My regular go to at lamplighter is the Katie Bagel with scrambled egg and tofutti on an everything bagel. The lines are often long but it’s worth it. Always amazing staff and drinks as well. If you haven’t you should try the matcha chocolate cups. To die for.

I love this little neighborhood café it’s so delicious honestly and it’s a staple in RVA as well. You can’t go wrong with the many vegan options either. I do wish there wasmore space but I think a new location is coming soon. That’s a small issue though when you have the essence of what makes this place so great. Amazing coffee, delicious food, and a friendly/familiar staff
