Food and coffee was mediocre. I waited 20 minutes for a latte. I can get faster service from Wawa. The vibes in the establishment were also off. This was my first time there, I won’t be going back.

Small shop with a Rustic vibe with really good coffee and bagels. This is not the coffee shop to try to work in. The brown sugar cardamom latte is really good and have the perfect cardamom flavor that isn't overpowering. Really good service. I like that there is a free library outside and they have free community meals for people who needs it.
Service is very nice but wait times can be unreliable.

For “take and go” orders, this is a great option. While I wasn’t totally clear on the process, staff took care of us, we got our orders and they were done great. The coffee was excellent and the vegetarian options were spectacular! A really nice surprise as we had a vegetarian in the group. The breakfast burrito with vegetarian sausage was excellent and the egg, cheese and sausage bagel, very good. We will definitely return!

We came on a Sunday morning during brunch hour, and the place was packed but the staff was very patient and friendly. We got our food within 10 minutes and our drinks within 20-30. I spent about $40 for two drinks, two breakfast dishes, and two bakery items. The chai was pretty sweet, but very heavy on the spices, which I loved. I highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches, the Muna was delicious - so fresh and flavorful. The pre-made bakery items were the real star of the show. The sweet potato chai muffin and vegan pumpkin bread were both incredible. There was ample seating both inside and outside, and it wasn’t too hard to find parking, even at very busy weekend brunch hour. I’ll definitely be coming back!

A Richmond staple. Their coffee never disappoints and their breakfast sandwiches and bagels are delicious. I’m not even vegan but I love their vegan breakfast options. The coffee is also very good and the staff is quick and cordial. There’s a screened porch for seating, picnic tables outside, as well as seating inside.

I tried the Brown Sugar Cardamom Latte since it was highly recommended, but honestly, it tasted more like a regular latte without the unique flavors I was hoping for. Still, the overall experience made up for it — friendly energy, good coffee shop hustle, and a welcoming place to relax or work for a bit. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in downtown Richmond and looking for that authentic coffeehouse experience.

Excellent coffee, great service. Sometimes the bakery and bagels are a little inconsistent but nothing worth knocking down a star for.
