Quaint place, food is good, drinks are great!
I moved to the fan a year ago and Brazen quickly became my favorite spot. The food is absolutely amazing. The service? Even better. Finding Brazen gave me an amazing DELICIOUS place to come to after. I would would recommend 100 times over. I’ve never had a bad time here and it’s such a hidden gem. 10/10 recommend
I've eaten at Brazen twice now, and both times the food was excellent and the service was absolutely lovely. All of the cocktails are delicious, and one was so good that my parents who were dining with me went and asked the bartender for his recipe! We had the short ribs, scallops, and poutine - all wonderful. Cat was our server and she was fantastic! She gave us great guidance on both the cocktail and dinner menu, and we were delighted with what we got.

Brazen is an unexpectedly amazing restaurant in Richmond, known for its incredible flavor. The chefs demonstrate clear thought, tastiness, and technique in everything. The atmosphere is super nice and the price is amazing.
The menu features standout dishes like the braised beets appetizer with hints of orange, and epic burgers available as bowls over potatoes, which are great for gluten-free diners. The Trifecta brazen bowl and Beauford bowl are both very tasty and flavorful. For brunch, the Oxbow with short ribs is out of this world. Other notable items include the beef bourguignon poutine with crispy Gruyère, muscles as an appetizer, wings, and huge sandwiches with gluten-free bread options. Desserts like the epic panna cotta are perfect.
Service is consistently excellent, with staff described as super hospitable, knowledgeable, and giving good direction. Bartenders are praised for offering creative, mouthwatering drinks made individually with fresh ingredients. The overall experience offers excellent atmosphere, food, drinks, service, and music. It is considered one of the best meals in Richmond, a new secret where the food is just that good.
