If you guys want something new that is unbelievably delicious you must find this food truck!!!! Their smashed plantain sandwiches are out of this world. Our group of about 15 all raved over their food.
Bruh how have i gone 34 years without knowing about Patacones? I grabbed myself the El Mayimbe for lunch today and my world is currently rocked.For those who don't know, these sandwiches use smashed plantains rather than bread and are filled with delicious meats, cheeses, and pickled veggies. They kind of remind me of arepas, but dare i say even better?

My boyfriend and I were able to order from the food truck and it did not disappoint. I love plantains and Latin cuisine so this was perfect. I ordered the El Mayimbe Plantain sandwich and it was my favorite, the flavor was immaculate! My boyfriend's sandwich (El Tumbao) was also good. We ate our sandwiches so fast we ordered one more to share (El Chavo). 10/10 experience, service, and food. Absolutely will order here again!
