Got carry out this time. Such good food, such nice people.
Hands down the best fried chicken in town—crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The sweet tea is top-tier and hits just right every time. Service is always friendly and fast, and the crowd is as diverse and welcoming as the food is satisfying. A true local gem for comfort food done right.

Food is also hot and delicious but I noticed the chicken wings are considerable smaller after COVID but that's everywhere here lately..wings are my favorite piece of the chicken
Never disappoints - always a good decision
Wings were good with Biscuit, butter and grape jelly. Tea was good.
Ugh! So disappointed to get my order and it’s not right! And this was after I told them the first order they gave me was wrong. We love this place but this is becoming the norm. We live 30 minutes away otherwise I would drive back. Photo show … it’s supposed to be large sides with family pack.
just horrible. every single time I order food from here they mess up my sides. it’s getting a little out of hand. I finally called to politely complain about this issue right after I arrived home with the incorrect sides AGAIN just to be met with nothing. no compensation, no apology, just nothing. “you can drive up here and get the side you want” is what the lady over the phone told me. just awful. i’m genuinely so upset about this.

Chicken is the best in RVA
Every time I'm in Richmond I have to stop by Mr. Lee's for their chicken tender meal and some sweet tea. And I always get the honey mustard dipping sauce and honey for the biscuit. It can get kind of crowded there on occasion but, for me, it's worth the wait.
We have been here a couple times now and have always enjoyed the food. They are always pretty crowded.
