I frequent Lee’s a lot but today I had the worst experience. Waited in line for over 30 minutes to order/pay but I love Lee’s so I waited…only to get pulled in a parking spot for an additional 20 minutes because they “ran out of chicken”? Unacceptable. And there was no compensation or apology for the wait or anything. Disappointing.
I am new to RVA and this came across my news feed as a must try. HOLY CRAP AM I HAPPY I DID. I ordered a 3 pc and let the girl behind the counter choose my proteins and sides. SHE CHOSE RIGHT.

It was ok and pricey for a chicken joint, I have had much better chicken and biscuits, my grandson who gets mac&cheese every where we dine said it was too runny and asked where's the crust, he still ate it though! He loved the mashed potatoes and gravy. My grand daughter who loves green beans and is a green bean snob, says they were banging, last grandson said that the chicken stripes were great! Didn't like Mac and cheese or biscuit....
