First visit. Really wanted peanut soup. Not on menu, but available. Absolutely loved. Came with Virginia ham that would have been better if finely sliced up. Hard to cut ham slices in soup. Next up oysters hollandaise. Came out lukewarm so I had to send back. When you are at a high end restaurant, the food should always be piping hot. The crab cake over polenta, cake warm to hot polenta medium. Comes in a very deep bowl so they should give you a spoon. Asparagus perfectly...
We just had an amazing meal at the Lemaire. Ordered at the bar and brought the food up to our room, the service was great and each dish was fantastic! This restaurant is located within the Jefferson hotel and has a classy old school look making it a nice special occasion place to dine at as well. We would highly recommend a visit here!
