We have always found the food to be excellent and very satisfying no matter when we have visited (quiet evening, busy brunch, hectic holiday). This visit was no exception. We made a last minute reservation and discovered that the garden was closed for the evening. However when I mentioned that one of our party was unable to negotiate the stairs up to the main restaurant, the staff instantly made an exception and opened the ground level space for us. We greatly appreciate the consideration...
The food is superb, very nice melding of flavors and visuals. The decor is quaint, very cool and quite comfortable. The outdoor patio has a nice looking fountain in the middle of the courtyard type setting. Just a lovely experience! Our server was excellent.
Went here for dessert. The choices were excellent. Neither my date nor I could finish our large portions, so we had them as part of our breakfast the next morning. They were both so good. I can't wait to go back again.
