I visited Lizzy’s today and unfortunately did not have a positive experience. The individual who took my order appeared disengaged and not fully attentive. I ordered the egusi chicken and was told the wait time would be approximately 15 minutes. During that time, I stepped out to run a couple of quick errands nearby (gas and another store).

When I returned, there was no communication about my order, and I ended up waiting an additional 10 minutes on top of...

Another great experienice with this restaurant as I have now been here several times to get my West African fix. The Fufu With Goat Egusi Stew takes me back to my teenage years with authentic flavors. The Turkey Wings are seasoned to perfection, hugged by fresh onions and peppers, and the pepper sauce cup is an amazing compliment. I place my orders for pick and travel from Chesterfield for this food, the quality and customer service is well worth it!

Over the years, I have patronized a multitude of African restaurants from DMV to RVA, Lizzys is definitely top 10. Everything on the menu is good and served generously.
