Sitting here in complete shock right now. I've never had Indian food so bland and just so blah. Even the naan (which isn't fresh from a tandoor) tastes unusual and the rice appears to be microwaved. There's literally oomph in any of the six dishes that come in the thali. No salt, no spices, just bland heat. The service is also a bit unusual. This place has good reviews and I'm just scratching my head right now. There are much better options just a few miles up the road.

We have been going here for years and we love it! Authenticity is what we love the most. The owners are very genuine people. The staff is excellent!!! We are going back again tonight for a late Valentine's celebration!!! I fully recommend if you want real authentic Indian cuisine. Not the commercial garbage you can get anywhere. Go try it out, you won't be disappointed. â¤

Tried this place for a second time in 4 months. Found the owner to be very arrogant because i had told him my food was cold and that it tasted old. What also did not help was the fact was while the the owner was speaking to me there was a very strong smell of body odor. I will NOT be coming back to this place.

This place doesn't have any connection to real South Indian Food. We tried Friday "buffet" - was served a thali with a few dishes - all tasted similar, old, lukewarm, and tasteless! We got one vegetarian and non-veg thali. Chicken was the only difference in the non-veg thali. We were the only customers on a Fri at 1:30 pm ! We should have walked out. Owner was rude, and server was indifferent ! Only restaurant in Richmond area that claims to have South Indian Food - absolute misrepresentation! Will never go there again ! Neither South Or North - worst of both !

Pretty good prices for the quality of food. Was unimpressed with the vegetable platter appetizer but their entrees are quite delicious and a fair sight cheaper than the nearby Anokha. Come for the lunch buffet! Can't beat all you can eat entrees made to order.
